Previously only available with Juno Lighting GroupIndy™-brand luminaires for commercial use, with the new Juno-brand Hyperbolic LED Trims, architects, specifiers, builders and contractors can now create a “Silent Ceiling™” effect – a step above a “quiet ceiling” – in residential and light commercial applications.
Juno Hyperbolic LED Trims are ideal for creating low-brightness ceilings with virtually no glare while significantly increasing luminaire efficiency and efficacy by 35 percent when compared to conventional reflectors. To achieve this, Juno Hyperbolic LED Trims use a patent-pending technology to reduce the amount of light incident on the lower portion of the reflector, dramatically cutting aperture brightness.
Prompted by the demand for low glare, high efficiency LED luminaires, Juno Lighting Group engineers conducted extensive research and testing, and discovered that changing the overall shape of the reflector from cone to hyperbolic provides superior light distribution control for LED sources. This is because the hyperbolic shape takes advantage of the directional nature of LED light sources, spreading and directing light down toward the work plane.

Juno-brand Hyperbolic trims are available for Juno-brand 4-, 5- and 6-inch 600, 900 and 1400 lumen residential/light commercial IC and TC rated downlights in a wide variety of finishes and are as simple to install as a standard trim.
